Lake Montbel is just 5 minutes away from La Besse Campsite. A wonderful expanse of water covering 570 hectares with a capacity of 60 million m³.

You can get to Lake Montbel directly via the Camon dyke (5 km from the campsite). From there you can walk around Lake Montbel – a great walk of about 16 km in the shade of the trees and taking about 4 hours on foot or by bike (preferably by mountain bike).

You will also see an area set aside for swimming with fun water sports at La Régate dyke near Léran.
