GENERAL BOOKING AND RENTAL CONDITIONS
Camping de La Besse
Article 1: The rental of accommodation or an open-air pitch implies the customer’s full acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale of the La Besse campsite and the unreserved acceptance of all provisions. Each family must be registered by a non-transferable contract. This rental is precarious.
Article 2: The basic package includes :
- 1 person for the rental of a camping pitch with tent, caravan or camper van
- 2 to 7 people (including babies and children), depending on accommodation capacity
- space for one car
- electricity, water and gas consumption (mobile homes and chalets)
- access to sanitary facilities for camping pitches
- access, according to opening periods, to entertainment, services and leisure facilities, with the exception of those indicated with supplements
The La Besse campsite refuses access to families arriving with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the rented accommodation (including babies and children).
Article 3 : The rates or information published in this brochure are subject to printing errors or omissions.
Tourist taxes are not included in the price of the stay. Seuls les prix mentionnés sur votre facture seront contractuels.
Rates are calculated on the basis of a 10% VAT rate. In the event of a change in the VAT rate, rates will be re-indexed accordingly.
Reservation / booking fees apply to all bookings. For stays of less than 7 nights, the charge is €8; for stays of 7 nights or more, the charge is €15. Ils ne sont pas remboursables.
Article 4 : The confirmation of reservation will be sent to you mentioning the number of pitch, taking into account your preferences and according to our availabilities, by endeavouring to give you satisfaction. However, the number may be changed without any claim for damages.
Article 5 : For bookings made more than 30 days before the expected arrival date, deposits must accompany the booking contract in order to validate the booking. They will be deducted from the cost of the stay. For the reservation to become effective, the deposit must be paid within 10 days of receipt of the contract.
Down payments :
Campsite pitch: 25% of the total amount + booking fee.
Chalets and mobile homes: 25% of the total amount + booking fee
The balance of the stay must be paid by the customer no later than 30 days before the date of arrival at the campsite.
For bookings made less than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
Deposit:
A deposit of €150 per accommodation is required on arrival.
Tourist tax is included in the basic rate.
Article 6 : All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to Camping de la Besse by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. Deadlines are calculated from the date of receipt of the registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
- In the event of cancellation more than 2 months before the scheduled arrival date, the entire deposit will be refunded. Booking fees are non-refundable,
- In the event of cancellation between 2 months and 30 days before arrival, we will retain the deposit paid and the booking fee.
- After 30 days, all deposits and the balance of the stay will be retained.
Cancellation insurance :
Il est recommandé au Client de souscrire une assurance annulation et interruption. Le Client à la possibilité de souscrire cette assurance auprès de la Société Gritichen Affinity, partenaire du Camping de la Besse. The insurance premium must be paid in full at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

Article 7 : For any arrival not corresponding to the indications on the booking form, access to the campsite will be refused and the stay cancelled. The payment of the stay will be kept by the campsite as well as the cancellation guarantee.
Article 8 : En cas d’arrivée retardée ou de départ anticipé pour quelque raison que ce soit, aucun remboursement, aucune réduction, aucune compensation ne seront faits. An additional night will be charged if the arrival time is exceeded.
24 hours after the scheduled arrival date, if you have not shown up, the reservation will be considered cancelled and you will not be entitled to any refund.
Article 9: Le règlement intérieur est affiché aux sanitaires du camping. Nous vous remercions d’en prendre connaissance. Tout client doit se conformer au règlement intérieur au camping. Failure to comply with the rules may result in expulsion from the campsite without any refund of your stay.
Example: Noise, silence is requested from 11pm except on Thursday evenings (evening entertainment). Two warnings for noise will result in expulsion without any refund
In all cases of complaints to the campsite or violence, expulsion will be immediate.
Article 10: Mobile home and chalet rentals are available from SATURDAY 4.30 pm to SATURDAY 10 am for stays of at least one week.
During the off-season, arrivals for mobile home and chalet rentals are accepted from 3 pm to 7 pm. Le départ s’effectue entre 9h et 11h.
Article 11: The equipment in each mobile home, chalet or mobile home is subject to a costed inventory. It is the tenant’s responsibility to check the inventory on arrival and to report any anomalies on the same day.
Le nettoyage du mobil home est à la charge du locataire. En fin de séjour, le mobil home, chalet ou résidence mobile doit être restitué en parfait état de propreté. If this is not the case, €70 will be deducted from the deposit.
Cleanliness: Places must be kept clean and in working order. Les dépôts d’ordures sont interdits en dehors des containers. Deux avertissements pour emplacement ou location sales ou dégradés entraînent l’expulsion sans aucun remboursement.
Article 12 : It is the camper’s responsibility to take out insurance, as the campsite declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather… and in the event of incidents for which the camper is liable. La Camping de la Besse cannot be held responsible for any personal belongings left at the campsite.
Article 13: Pets must be kept on a leash. You must be able to show an up-to-date vaccination certificate and tattoo. Animals must be vaccinated against rabies. It is forbidden to leave an animal alone on a pitch, tied up or locked in a car or in a rental unit. Dogs considered dangerous by law are not allowed on the campsite.
Article 14: The pool is open from 10am to 8pm. It is a private pool, not supervised, and children are the responsibility of their parents. For men, only swimming trunks are permitted.
Article 15 : During your stay, our teams are at your disposal to respond to your requests and resolve any malfunctions. In order to respond as quickly as possible, any complaint will only be taken into account if it is made in writing during your stay.
Article 16 : No refund or compensation will be considered in the case of a temporary or seasonal closure of one or more services, a site, equipment, … related to a technical problem, climate, administrative or legislative, a strike or any other reason.
Article 17: In the event of a dispute, the competent court will be that of the location of the establishment.
For rental accommodation, a deposit of 150€ is required on arrival. This will be returned on departure (*), after an inventory has been taken, less any damage and/or missing items. A fixed charge of 50€ will be retained if the rental has not been cleaned before your departure.
(*) Departure on Saturdays between 08:00 and 10:00. For departures outside these hours, your deposit will be returned to you by post only after the rental has been checked.
