Domaine de la Besse is a family affair. For 3 generations and soon 50 years, we’ve been pampering our little corner of paradise. Today, the Camping de la Besse, nestled in the middle of a 200-hectare estate, offers spacious, unspoilt accommodation, farm animals and an exceptional view of the mountains of the Ariège Pyrenees.
You’ll find comfortable, functional accommodation, cosy beds, a large wooden terrace to enjoy nature and the sun…
Starting from Camping nature en Occitanie in the heart of the Ariège countryside, you’ll be able to take part in a wide range of activities and walks in the midst of natural areas to recharge your batteries in peace and quiet. Water is everywhere in Ariège, starting at the campsite where you can enjoy the Lagon and thewellness area, but also the river with its whitewater sports just 1km away and the Lac de Montbel 5 km away, where you can enjoy sailing and many other water sports.

Ariège is a department rich in history, on your next vacation, you can visit prehistoric sites and remains, caves and on the Cathar castles route discover Montségur, a 13th-century Cathar fortress and the 12th-century fortified castle of Foix, with the magnificent Pyrenean foothills in the distance. The geographical location of our campsite allows you to harmonize pleasures with the discovery of the magnificent landscapes of Ariège enhanced by the backdrop of the Pyrenees and numerous sports and recreational activities.
Located in the Ariège foothills at the foot of the Cathar Pyrenees at an altitude of 500 meters, Domaine de la Besse enjoys a mild, temperate and refreshing climate, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a peaceful vacation.
