Lac de Montbel is just 5 minutes from Camping de la Besse. This magnificent lake covers 570 hectares and has a capacity of 60 million m3.
You can reach Lac de Montbel directly from the Camon dike (5km from the campsite). From here, you can walk or cycle (preferably mountain bike) around Lac de Montbel, a beautiful 16 km loop of about 4 hours.
You’ll also find a swimming area with water sports and leisure activities at the La Régate dike on the Léran side.
